Playlist for those of you who enjoy this stuff like myself.

R.L. Crutchfields Dark Day- Hands in the Dark B/W Invisible Man 45''
A classic cold wave record that seems to be appealing to me more and more as of late

Harry Pussy- You'll Never Play This Town Again CD
Finally someone (Load Records of course) has compiled all the super hard to find and long out of print Harry Pussy records that dirt bags like me still worship. Contains my personal favorite tour only 12'' that could clear a room faster than a truck full of poisonous snakes and lepers.

Throbbing Gristle- First Annual Report LP
Classic Release and can never be equaled in it's simplicity and overall audio sensibilities.

S.V.E.S.T./ Deathspell Omega split LP
S.V.E.S.T. offer three songs of the best black metal I have heard in some time. The guitar tone is so fucking different. Really impressed with this. The Deathspell side offers the perfect dose of high art that everyone has come to expect from them. Their lyrical content is unmatched to this day as well in its profane hymn like quality.

Septic Death- Everyfuckingthing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like everything around you is falling apart and it is.

Sorhin- 1993-2001 Vinyl Box set
The often overlooked and excellent bands entire recorded output onto two lps, a double 10'', and a 7''. Absolutely the best looking box set I have ever seen. Makes it worth the steep price.

Tako- 12'' on Ambassador's Reception
Sounds ancient but is actually modern cosmic disco-slop from over seas. I would love to see the studio that this was recorded in. It's probably more like an amazing space ship with the coolest analog gear ever.

Alas!!!!!!! News is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So finally some news to spread. The first official Shaking Hell Release will be the Cadaver In Drag/ Everybody Wins Everybody Lives Split LP. At this point it is an lp only release. Pressing details to follow but there will be 100 copies on Kentucky Blue vinyl. Those will be available here and through the bands only. Release date for this coming very soon but should be around late spring or very beginning of summer. Check out a live video of Cadaver in Drag here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4fw-2zHWx4
Also make sure to check out Warmer Milk as they will be on tour soon. Dates will be posted here as soon as I get them.

So next on the release agenda is the long awaited (and long over due) Necrite full lengther! They are in the recording stages and have been for quite for sometime now. Heard some rough mix stuff and it sounds fucking crazy. Really full and deep. As soon as it is done the cd release of this will come out first and then the limited edition vinyl version. The vinyl might take awhile as I am told the full length is over 80 minutes. This means it will be at least a double if not a triple lp. So that translates to lots of fucking money and time which are the two things around here at the Shaking Hell camp that are not always available. Check out this footage of Necrite.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syb9TBMgSjoAnd if you live in the Bay Area make sure to check for live dates as they do play live and are at the peak of they're genre.
